What is Pay&Go
Pay&Go is a contactless payment system that allows you to purchase second-class rail tickets and Malpensa Express airport tickets, either one-way or return, by simply holding your payment card or smartphone close to the turnstiles and totems equipped with dedicated Pay&Go POS terminals, available in some stations.
-
Where you can use Pay&Go
Pay&Go will be progressively activated in stations served by Trenord trains: turnstiles and totems equipped with POS terminals are branded with dedicated graphics.
Active lines:
- RE54 Malpensa - Milano Cadorna
- R17 Como - Saronno - Milano -
How does Pay&Go work
Two taps are all it takes: before departure, simply hold your Visa, Mastercard, Maestro or American Express contactless payment card (credit, debit or prepaid), or your smartphone equipped with Apple Pay/Google Pay and NFC technology, close to one of the Pay&Go turnstiles or totems in the station.
At the arrival station, tap again at a turnstile or totem equipped with a POS terminal: the fare for the journey you have made by train will be charged to the card used.
In case of ticket inspection, show your card to Trenord staff, who can check that the ticket has been issued. If you purchased your ticket using a virtual card in your Wallet, provide the virtual card number shown in your device Wallet.
With Pay&Go, you can buy second-class rail tickets and Malpensa Express airport fare tickets if one of the two taps is made at Malpensa T1 or Malpensa T2 station.
