PURCHASE
The special ticket can be purchased on the Trenord website or app, at the ticket offices, via the self-service machines, and at Trenord retailers.
The special ticket must be used on the day chosen at the time of purchase, does not require validation and, if purchased ONLINE, does not need to be printed.
USE
The Trenord train ticket included in the "TESORI DEL LAGO DI COMO" package can only be used for a return journey in second class on Trenord trains. The train ticket cannot be used on the Malpensa Express airport service or on services offered by other railway companies.
The special ticket can only be used by a single person, adult or child, depending on the type of ticket purchased, while the Family ticket is valid for 2 adults and 2 children (aged 4–13).
The ticket offers direct access to the boats. To use the rapid boat service, you must pay an extra fee at a Navigazione Laghi on-land ticket office.
CHANGES
The travel date on special tickets cannot be changed.
REFUNDS
The special "Tesori del lago di Como" ticket is not refundable.
INSPECTIONS
If requested, show the ticket to Trenord staff. If you purchased your ticket online, simply show the digital version on your smartphone.
GROUPS
For groups of more than 20 people, before purchasing the tickets, you should check if the train and boat are available by contacting comitive@trenord.it and that of the boat by writing to infocomo@navigazionelaghi.it
How to get Varenna
From any station in Lombardy, travel to a station on the RE8 TIRANO-SONDRIO-LECCO-TIRANO line, take any train heading to Tirano (or Milano Centrale) and get off at VARENNA (journey time: 64' from Milano Centrale, 86' from Tirano ). Once you reach your destination, head for the Navigazione Lago di Como pier (8 minutes on foot) and take the boat to Bellagio.
