Trains on the Malpensa - Milano Centrale R31 line take you from Milano Centrale station to Terminal 1 of Malpensa airport in 51 minutes and from Malpensa Airport to Milano Centrale in 54 minutes.
With the Malpensa Express train you avoid the traffic and costs of parking at the airport, because it leaves you under Terminal 1, a few minutes walk from the arrivals area, which is located on the ground floor, while the departures area, the check-in area and the boarding gates are on the first floor.
Arriving at Milano Centrale, however, you are already close to all the platforms from which trains depart for any destination, with the Trenord regional lines for, for example, Chiasso, Bergamo, Verona, Alessandria, Tirano, Mantova, Tortona.
