To Como with the Historic Train

Step aboard an authentic railway treasure and let yourself be captivated by the timeless charm of the Historic Train. An extraordinary experience awaits in the first-class AZ 130-136-137 carriages, built between 1924 and 1925 and now fully restored, where every detail evokes the elegance of another era: the wooden interiors, the cardinal red velvet seats, the window curtains, and the original cord-laced luggage racks instantly recreate the refined atmosphere of historic train travel.

Completing the composition are two remarkable vintage electric locomotives, the FNM E610-04 from 1949 and the FNM E600-3 from 1928, both fully restored and standing as true symbols of railway history, engineering, and passion.

On 26 April, the journey will be brought to life by period-costumed performers who will enliven the train with artistic, theatrical, and musical performances inspired by the places and characters of the past. The trips on 10 May and 7 June will instead be accompanied by talented jazz ensembles among the finest on the Italian scene, paying tribute to the music of the 1920s and 1930s through a repertoire of jazz, blues, classical pieces, and popular songs.

To Laveno with the Historic Train

Step aboard an extraordinary journey through time on the elegant AZ 130-136-137 first-class carriages—true vintage gems built between 1924 and 1925, now beautifully restored. The April 12 journey will become a refined moving stage, brought to life by some of the finest jazz musicians on the Italian scene, performing timeless sounds from the 1920s and 1930s, including jazz, blues, and beloved classics.

On May 24, step into a true historical reenactment: costumed performers will bring the past to life through artistic, theatrical, and musical performances, recreating the atmosphere and characters of the era.
