From all over Lombardy to Linate: now everything is connected
Tuesday 28/02/2023
Train, subway, plane: everything is now connected thanks to the M4, for sustainable travel to and from Linate Airport.
The new line makes it possible to reach Milan Linate airport by public transportation from all over Lombardy: simply take a train to the Milano Dateo and Milano Forlanini stations, and from there take the underground to the airport. One train every 7', from 6 am to 9 pm.

Trenord lines that cross the Passante ferroviario stop at Milano Dateo, i.e. S1 Saronno-Lodi, S2 Mariano Comense-Milano Rogoredo, S5 Varese-Treviglio, S6 Novara-Pioltello, S13 Pavia-Milano Bovisa.
Milan Forlanini can instead be reached by the S5 Varese-Treviglio, S6 Novara-Pioltello, and S9 Saronno-Seregno-Albairate lines.
For those taking the train, Linate is now "just one change away" from such nerve centres as Varese FS, Novara FS, Pavia, Lodi, Saronno, Seregno, Monza, Treviglio, Pioltello, and Albairate.
But the convenience does not end there: to travel on trains and the underground, there is no need to purchase two separate tickets. In fact, with the STIBM Mi1-Mi2 ticket (€2.20), it is possible to use both means without any problems. STIBM tickets can be purchased at all Trenord sales channels, including the website and App.
