First Class Extra
The monthly or annual First Class Extra for single journeys offers access to the higher class for customers in possession of tickets issued at the Lombardy regional fares, STIBM integrated tickets, and holders of IVOL - Io Viaggio Ovunque in Lombardia and IVOP integrated rail passes. The extra can be used on all Trenord and Trenitalia trains operating within the Lombardy rail fares.
First Class Extra Details
The First Class Extra for single tickets and monthly rail passes can be purchased separately from the ticket; annual passes must be purchased at the same time.
An invoice can be requested for all extras.
In case of theft or loss, a duplicate will be issued for the annual First Class Extra only, which will be added to the card for the remainder of its validity.
From 1 September 2025, the First Class Extra is available at a discounted rate for both occasional trips and for season ticket holders, in combination with the IVOP, STIBM or IVOL - Io Viaggio Ovunque in Lombardia integrated tickets, according to the following categories:
Occasional trips: 2.50€
Monthly STIBM/IVOP: 25.00€ IVOL - Io Viaggio Ovunque in Lombardia: 30.00€
Annual STIBM/IVOL: 250.00€ IVOL - Io Viaggio Ovunque in Lombardia: 300.00€
FIRST CLASS SUPPLEMENT

Supplemento Prima Classe for occasional trips:
Price: 2,50€
Format: paper and magnetic
Sales channels: Trenord ticket offices and resellers, on board the train according to the regulations of CGT*
Use and validity: unlimited trips up to the last train on the validation day.
In support of: all integrated travel tickets, including three-day tickets and rail passes, both ordinary and subsidized
Validation: compulsory, manual, indicating the date and number of the travel document in support
Supplemento Prima Classe Monthly IVOP/STIBM:
Price: 25,00€
Format: paper and magnetic
Sales channels: Trenord ticket offices and resellers
Use and validity: unlimited travel for the entire period and in the area validity of the rail pass in support
In support of: all STIBM and IVOP subscriptions, including annual, both ordinary and subsidized
Validation: mandatory, manual, indicating the month of use ** and the number of the travel document in support
Supplemento Prima Classe Mensile IVOL - Io Viaggio Ovunque in Lombardia:
Price: 30,00€
Format: paper and magnetic

Use and validity: unlimited travel for the entire period of validity of the subscription in support
In support of: all IVOL subscriptions, even annual ones

Format: electronic on card
Sales channels: Trenord ticket offices and resellers, together with the rail pass
Use and validity: unlimited travel for the entire period of validity of the subscription in support
In support of: STIBM annual passes, both ordinary and facilitated
Validation: No validation required
Supplemento Prima Classe Annuale IVOL
Price: 300,00€
Format: electronic on card
Sales channels: Trenord ticket offices and resellers, together with the rail pass
Use and validity: unlimited travel for the entire period of validity of the subscription in support
In support of: IVOL - Io Viaggio Ovunque in Lombardia annual and quarterly subscriptions, both ordinary and subsidized
Validation: No validation required
