The Suburban S7 Lecco - Molteno - Monza - Milano line departs from Lecco and, every hour, takes you to Milano Porta Garibaldi in just over an hour and a half, stopping at all stations.

In the Lecco station it joins the regioexpress line for Sondrio and Tirano and the regional one for Bergamo, while in Monza it crosses the lines for Como San Giovanni, Saronno or Albairate, Bergamo, Chiasso, Milano Centrale. It also stops at Sesto San Giovanni, where you can use the red subway M1, and at Milano Greco Pirelli, where you can take trains to Piacenza, Stradella, Brescia.

The Suburban line S7 Lecco - Molteno - Monza - Milano ends at the Milano Porta Garibaldi station, where you can find the regional and high-speed railway lines, from the surface station, while the suburban lines leave from the Milano Porta Garibaldi Passante station.

 There are also two ATM metro lines, the green line M2 and the lilac line M5, bus and tram.

The journey from Lecco to Milan Porta Garibaldi takes about an hour and 35 minutes, from Lecco to Molteno about 20 minutes, from Lecco to Monza an hour and 20 minutes, finally, from Monza to Milano Porta Garibaldi it takes about 15 minutes.

How long is the journey from Lecco to Milan?


 

The Trenord train service of the suburban line S7 Lecco - Molteno - Monza - Milan connects Lecco and Milano Porta Garibaldi in just over 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Trains have an hourly frequency and stop at all stations.

How much does the Lecco-Milan ticket cost?


From Lecco to Milan the 2nd class price for a Trenord ticket is 4.80€. Discounted tickets for children and seniors are also available, as well as supplements for bicycle and animal transport.

 

The S7 line crosses the provinces of Milan and Monza and Brianza, where the STIBM integrated tariff system is in force. You need to purchase an integrated STIBM ticket only to travel between two stations, both in the STIBM area.
