National strike on May 23th, 2025

USB Lavoro privato and SGB unions have called a National Rail Transport Strike, from 01:00 to 23:59 on 23 May 2025 which may have repercussions on rail traffic in Lombardy.

The Regional, Suburban, Long Distance Trenord Service and the Airport Service may be subject to changes and/or cancellations.

The guaranteed time slots will be in force, from 06:00 to 09:00 and from 18:00 to 21:00, during which the trains included in the list of "Minimum Guaranteed Services" will travel.

In the event of cancellation of airport service trains, non-stop buses will be set up between: 

• Milano Cadorna and Malpensa Aeroporto for the Malpensa Express. From Milano Cadorna the buses will depart from via Paleocapa 1. 
• Stabio and Malpensa Aeroporto for  the airport connection S50 Malpensa Airport – Stabio.
