Some unions have called a national strike for all public and private sectors from 9:00 PM on Sunday, September 21st to 9:00 PM on Monday, September 22nd, 2025:

The strike may have repercussions on Trenord's Regional, Suburban, Airport, and Long-Distance services.

On Sunday, September 21st, trains scheduled to depart by 9:00 PM according to the Official Timetable and arriving at their final destination by 10:00 PM will operate.

The guaranteed time slots will be in effect from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, during which the trains on the train list will operate. guaranteed.

In the event of cancellation of airport service trains, non-stop buses will be provided between:

• Milan Cadorna and Malpensa Airport for the Malpensa Express. (From Milan Cadorna, buses will depart from Via Paleocapa 1.)
• Stabio and Malpensa Airport for the S50 Malpensa Airport – Stabio connection.
