Strike on May 6th, 2025

The ORSA, CGIL, CILS, UILTRASPORTI, UGL and FAST unions have called a National Strike on Tuesday 6 May 2025 from 09:01 to 16:59 which may have repercussions on rail traffic in Lombardy.

The Regional, Suburban, Long Distance Trenord Service and the Airport Service may be subject to changes and/or cancellations.

The guaranteed time slots will not be affected by the union strike and furthermore, trains scheduled to depart by 09:01 according to the Official Timetable and arriving at their final destination by 10:00 will reach their end of journey.

In the event of cancellation of airport service trains, non-stop buses will be set up between: 

• Milano Cadorna and Malpensa Aeroporto for the Malpensa Express. From Milano Cadorna the buses will depart from via Paleocapa 1. 
• Stabio and Malpensa Aeroporto for  the airport connection S50 Malpensa Airport – Stabio.
