National Strike 29-30 October 2026

The USB trade union has called a nationwide strike across all public and private sectors which, for the rail sector, will run from 9:00 PM on October 29 to 8:59 PM on October 30, 2026, and may cause disruptions to rail traffic in Lombardy.

On Thursday, October 29, trains scheduled to depart according to the Official Timetable by 9:00 PM and arriving at their final destination by 10:00 PM will run.
On Friday, October 30, only the trains included in the list of "Guaranteed Minimum Services" will run.

In the event of cancellations of airport service trains, non-stop replacement buses will be arranged between:

• Milano Cadorna and Malpensa Airport for line RE54. (From Milano Cadorna, buses will depart from Via Paleocapa 1.)
• Stabio and Malpensa Airport for airport service S50 Malpensa Airport – Stabio.

scrolling information on monitors.
