Activating subscriptions online on your card

Starting from February 2026, the activation times on the “IoViaggio” card for ordinary and integrated season tickets (IVOL, IVOP, Trenocittà and STIBM) purchased through online channels will be extended.

Below are the updated activation times:

• Weekly season tickets: 5 days from the purchase date
• Monthly season tickets: 15 days from the purchase date
• Quarterly + annual season tickets: 30 days from the purchase date

You can activate your season ticket directly on the card at any Trenord validation or ticket issuing machine. In case the activation period expires, or if you encounter actual difficulties, you can visit a Trenord ticket office.

Customers who experience recurring issues during the activation phase may consider switching to the dematerialized “Phone Pass” season ticket, which can be used directly via smartphone or tablet, without the need for a physical card and therefore without activation.
Phone Pass is available for both Railway and STIBM fares.
