WHY DIGITIZE?

 

To be able to change the date independently (up to 3 times, but always by 11:59 p.m. the day before the day of use) as you would for any ticket purchased online; To use it with your smartphone (from the Trenord website or App) as you would for any ticket purchased online; To request a refund online.

 

 

HOW TO DIGITIZE?

ON TRENORD APP

To turn a ticket purchased at a ticket office, point of sale or at a station vending machine on rechargeable ticket media into a digital ticket for use with your cell phone, you must follow these steps. The feature dedicated to rechargeable ticket can be found at the bottom of the "Wallet" section of the Trenord App

  • Press "Digitize Tickets";
  • Enter the serial number of the rechargeable ticket (14 digits);
  • Enter departure station and destination station of the trip to be digitized;
  • Press "Continue." As you proceed, the tickets on the digitizable cop will be shown;
  • Choose the title to be digitized and proceed (by confirming or changing the date);
  • A summary of the operation will be offered and then you can proceed to the actual digitization;
  • As you proceed, the train ticket on the rechargeable ticket rechargeable media will be digitized.

To wit:

  • It will no longer be usable via rechargeable ticket;
  • It becomes usable by smartphone by accessing the ticket section of one's personal page on the trenord.it website or in the same "Wallet" section of the Trenord App as any ticket purchased online.
  • The scanned ticket retains the same validity as the rechargeable ticket (6 hours from the time of endorsement on the day chosen during purchase)

 

NOTE: Digitization of a ticket loaded on the rechargeable ticket is only available for origin/destination rail tickets. It is not possible to digitize integrated STIBM and IVOL tickets.

 

 

ON TRENORD.IT WEBSITE

To turn a ticket purchased at a ticket office, point of sale or at a station vending machine on rechargeable ticket media into a digital ticket for use with your cell phone, via the website, you need to follow these steps:

On the trenord.it website, the feature dedicated to rechargeable ticket can be found in the personal area at the bottom of the "Tickets" section highlighted by a dedicated banner.

  • Press "Digitize Title";
  • Enter the serial number of the rechargeable ticket (14 digits);
  • Enter departure station and destination station of the trip to be digitized;
  • Press "Continue." As you proceed, the tickets on the digitizable rechargeable ticket will be shown;
  • Choose the title to be digitized and proceed (by confirming or changing the date).
  • A summary of the operation will be offered and then you can proceed to the actual digitization.

 

NOTE: Digitizing a ticket uploaded to the rechargeable ticket is only available for origin/destination rail tickets. It is not possible to digitize integrated STIBM and IVOL tickets.
