What you can do
A small Lombard town in the lower Po Valley, Lodi, despite its simplicity, is a city rich in art, history and events. In the heart of Lodi, in the famous Piazza della Vittoria, the most important historical buildings of the city are erected: the neoclassical-style Palazzo Broletto, the fifteenth-century Palazzo Vistarini, the Basilica della Vergine Assunta, a Romanesque-style cathedral completed after more than a century of work and again the Civic Temple of the Incoronata, a masterpiece of the Lombard Renaissance in the Bramante style.
Numerous green areas characterize the city and allow moments of great peace and relaxation: the public gardens, the Parco dell'Isola Carolina and the Bosco del Belgiardino located on the banks of the Adda river and finally the Lungo Adda Bonaparte, a place so loved by Giosuè Carducci .
