On Friday 25 February due to a strike that may affect the staff of the Ferrovienord infrastructure manager, the service on some lines may be subject to cancellations and changes. The agitation does not involve Trenord staff and will affect 9 of the 42 routes where the regional service trains circulate.
In particular, the trains that circulate on the Ferrovienord network, i.e. the regional and suburban connections that reach Milan Bovisa, Milan Cadorna - to and from Saronno (S3), Seveso / Camnago (S4), Canzo / Asso, may be of interest. Novara Nord, Como Lago, Varese / Laveno, Malpensa Airport - the Brescia-Iseo-Edolo line and the S50 Malpensa Airport-Bellinzona cross-border service.
The strike may also cause variations in the service of the "mixed" lines that transit on both networks, Ferrovienord and RFI, ie the connections S1 Milan Bovisa-Lodi, S2 Seveso-Rogoredo, S9 Saronno-Seregno-Albairate, S13 Milan Bovisa-Pavia, Malpensa Express to Milano Centrale.
Replacement buses will be provided, without intermediate stops, for any trips not made between Milan Cadorna (from via Paleocapa, 1) and Malpensa Airport and between Busto FS and Malpensa Airport.
In implementation of the provisions of the strike procedures, guaranteed trains will circulate on Friday at 6-9 and 18-21. In particular, trains whose departure time is included in these time slots will be operated on the lines on the Ferrovienord network, regardless of the time of arrival at the final destination.
Traffic information will be available on the pages of each line of the App and of the Trenord website. Passengers are advised to pay attention to audible announcements and station monitors.
