LEONARDO 1519/2019: 500 YEARS SINCE HIS DEATH

Milan is the city where Leonardo da Vinci stayed the longest. Leonardo arrived here in 1482 to serve Duke Ludovico Sforza, and his presence left an indelible mark on the city's history and artistic production, along with that of the entire Lombard territory.

For this reason, Milan is celebrating the 500th anniversary of his death with a nine-month programme (May 2019 - January 2020). The programme involves institutions, public and private bodies, associations and companies from all over Lombardy.

Trenord is also participating in this important moment of celebration with offers dedicated to its subscribers, one-way ticket buyers and groups who use the train for their journeys.
