The Giuseppe Verdi Symphony Orchestra of Milan was founded in 1993 by Vladimir Delman, immediately becoming an essential reference for the great symphonic repertoire in Milan and throughout Lombardy. On 6 October 1999, with the Symphony no. 2 Resurrection of Mahler conducted by Riccardo Chailly, the new permanent home of the Orchestra, the Auditorium of Milan Fondazione Cariplo, which due to its aesthetic, technological and acoustic characteristics is considered one of the best Italian concert halls as well as a historical place of culture Milanese.
