Now in its sixth edition, Trenord's Sustainability Report presents the activities, projects and results achieved during 2019 in economic, social and environmental aspects, as well as the initiatives carried out and the commitments made to its stakeholders. The Sustainability Reporthas been prepared in accordance with GRI Standards (Core level) published by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).

The GRI is the most widely used and internationally recognised standard for non-financial reporting. The 2019 Sustainability Report also includes, for the first time, the results obtained by KPMG's True Value model, which is new in Italy. This aims to go beyond the traditional representation of the value generated by a company, quantifying the direct impacts on the economy, the environment and society. Trenord's Sustainability Report has been prepared by the CSR function of the Communications Department, with the involvement of all the other Departments.
